Introduction to: “The Plan”
This is a no-nonsense plan specifically designed to allow you to finally get in the kind of physical shape you have dreamed about. It does not have all the boring filler stuff necessary to fill the chapters of a book. This is not intended to supply entertainment. Our premise is to tell it like it is, with enough pertinent information to allow you to design and obtain the body you have dreamed about. It is possible now, and it can and will become a reality if you take it to heart. Don’t skip anything and if you don’t completely understand every section, go back and read it again. This is an educational, lifestyle change, (a behavior change), which will result in a total body change. Our program is not the traditional, caloric deprivation program that is tailored to allow you to prevail temporarily, or rely on us for continued support, food or supplements. We don’t tell you how many points, calories, good carbohydrates, low fat, high protein, etc., to eat. Those types of plans are generally gimmickry or difficult to adhere to. We don’t require follow-up sessions. We don’t require you to buy our food. We approach your nutritional intake as having been a life long problem that you have been unable to solve by yourself, and it has finally manifested itself to a point where it is no longer tolerable. That is why none of the previous diets you have tried have worked. Don’t feel bad because, in the long term, those programs don’t work for anyone else either. We address the problem. Most programs are a temporary fix that work for a few weeks, then you can’t continue them for a variety of reasons. Hence, we’ll take the approach that you want to permanently change your health and appearance and are willing to do whatever it takes to finally make it a reality, “A PERMANENT LIFESTYLE CHANGE”. Such a major undertaking can’t be done with a simple plan. It requires a lot more. And, for this program to work, which it will, you need to agree to the following: To successfully be on the path of a life long health and fitness plan. This is what you have long dreamed about and finally deserve. When you are willing to humble yourself and sacrifice, you can learn to achieve the ultimate goal of longevity. After all, we all have heard the story about the person who said, “My grandfather smoked cigarettes every day and lived to be 95 years old”, or the person who says, “My grandparents drank whiskey every day and lived to be 95 years old”. However, none of us can say, “My grandfather was 350 pounds and lived to be 95 years old”, because he didn’t. He’s dead! He died an average of 13 years earlier than his non-obese counterpart. In today’s’ politically correct environment, your doctor, your friends, and your family won’t “tell it like it is” for fear of being criticized as being cruel or heartless. However, the reality is, regardless of how you look or don’t look, current statistics indicate that if you are obese, you are probably going to die 13 years earlier than you would if you were fit. This assumption is presuming you are over 30% body fat. If you are not, and you are reading this, you probably would have been, had you not decided to do something. Congratulations! We are interested in your body and the length and quality of your life, not what may or may not make you feel better about yourself. As you help yourself get fit, feeling better about yourself is an automatic byproduct of the ongoing process, its just not our focus here.
